Year 10 Architectural DVC
Students will develop a range of drawing and modelling skills. They will learn to interpret drawing and communicate information in appropriate graphic form. They will be encouraged to develop individual and innovative solutions to a design brief by working through the design process, applying design language, researching existing solutions, and analysing and evaluating their ideas as they develop a final outcome. They will gain knowledge of materials, processes and components, and of their application to space and architectural design.
Ongoing assessment throughout the course by submission of skills tasks and a portfolio at the end of each semester.

Subject Costs$20 may need to be spent on stationery items, as needed will be charged to accounts
Purchase a yearly Creative Cloud licence (approx. $8 organised as a user licence through the schools Adobe account) This will be charged to your account.
There may be costs associated with new modelling software that are yet to be determined - you will be advised at the beginning of the 2025 school year. (Possibility of needing to purchase a SketchUp licence $80 if the free version becomes unavailable)
A Device: As per the school's Device recommendations that will run Photoshop.
